Travis is a leader with cross-functional expertise in strategy, process design, and change management with MIS and Executive MBA degrees from the University of Georgia. Immediately after completing his undergraduate degree, he served 11 years in the US Air Force as a Communications-Computer and Logistics Officer. He gained experience in tactical and network communications and was the implementation project manager for many innovative technologies regarding Networking, Server Administration, Collaboration, VPN, Cloud-Based Computing, and Video on Demand. He received numerous medals and decorations and achieved the rank of Captain. Upon completion of Honorable Service, he has since worked in the government, non-profit, and private sectors in a variety of industries. He specializes in integrating cutting-edge technology and providing innovative business solutions.

He previously volunteered as the Managing Director for the Veteran Service Organization, NextGenVETS. NextGenVETS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, focused on providing Career Assessment and Educational/Training/Employment Opportunities for Recently-Released Veterans of the current wars.
